Life direction coaching
For the point where you know something needs to change, but cannot quite say what - or you can say it, and still cannot seem to move.
What it is
Life direction coaching is less about picking a grand new plan and more about working out what you actually want, what is in the way, and what the next honest step looks like. Most people arrive able to describe the feeling but not the cause: a low-level restlessness, a decision that will not resolve, a life that made sense once and no longer quite fits.
How to recognise it
- You are doing everything ‘right’ and still feel flat, restless or oddly disconnected from your own life.
- You keep circling the same decision - the job, the move, the relationship - without ever landing it.
- You find it easier to describe what you don’t want than what you do.
- Sunday evenings, birthdays or quiet moments bring a low-level ‘is this it?’ that you push away.
- You are living a version of life that made sense years ago and are not sure it still fits.
How the work goes
We start with what is actually going on rather than the version you have become used to telling. From there the work moves through what you want, what is genuinely in the way, and what would have to be true for the next step to feel possible - then into the practical decisions and conversations that make it real.
Sessions are 90 minutes, one to one, from a discreet private practice in Thame - or at your home, across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the wider Home Counties.
What changes
Clients who arrive feeling stuck tend to leave with a clear sense of what matters to them now, a direction they have chosen rather than inherited, and a practical route towards it. The change is often visible to the people around them before it is fully visible to them.

Life rarely arrives as one tidy problem, and these areas tend to overlap.
